I saw this pet bed in the store and decided I had to have it, but not for the in store price. Here I found a much better price. The bed is a great size for a cat or small dog. The sage green is a nice elegant, but still masculine, color that matches quite well with my living room. I didn’t want some crazy colored pet bed in my living room when I get married. I want a nice place for my wife. My cat took a while to adjust to the bed, but now she loves it. She is still a kitten, so she still plays about as much as she sleeps, but when she does decide to lay down, she likes to go to this bed. The fleece lining is soft and provides a comfortable place for the pet to relax.

Halti Training Head Collar Size 4 Black Review
I have tried 3 different styles of head harnesses on my Cane Corso Pup.. hes 8months now and 90 lbs of pure muscle that loves to pull. I don’t much care for choke chains since he just pulls, chokes and gags over and over.
As for the prev reviewer, most dogs need to be conditioned to new experiences like a head collar, or clipping toe nails..
My pup struggled like it was the end of the world the first few times we tried to put the harness on him (and tried to cut his nails). It’s a matter of making them comfortable with the experience.
Now he sits at the front door and when I grab the head harness he jams his face into it enthusiastically.
Anyway, I have tried the walmart brand harness, don’t like it compared to the other 2, it works better than just a collar though.
It fits like a gentle leader but the leash clips behind the head, so you don’t get as much control over the nose.
The gentle leader By premiere worked very well and I had no complaints, however my pup got ahold of it and chewed it up.
The halti goes one step further than the gentle leader, it clips under the nose the same way, however the Halti has a floating ring that acts similar to a choker, but on the mouth rather than the neck.. so when the dog pulls, it forces his mouth closed.
He doesn’t seem to like that very much.. but that’s kind of the point of training..
I only gave it 4/5 stars because the floating ring for the choker, isn’t a true floating ring.
It’s hard to describe until you see it, but the choker only really works when pulled from one side, from the other side it doesn’t close so it works the same as the gentle leader. Guess you are meant to train the dog to walk on your left hand side always. Luckily for me I had already been doing that.. but not so great for you righties.

These freshen our dog up a bit. We only bathe her monthly as more frequently is bad for the skin. We needed something in between to control the doggy-smell in our house about week three. They have a really nice scent and they help out and at this price, are a bargain compared to pet shop prices. Note the packaging is different than shown. They come in a big bag with a plastic hinge lid to get the wipes. This lid doesn’t seal or even close positively and I’m worried that wipes will dry out before we use them up. So far so good after a couple weeks.

KidCo Configure Gate Review
PROS: It was about the only possible solution for my complicated fencing situation. It took a while to figure out how to link the segments together (the directions are somewhat sketchy on this), but once we figured it out, it went together easily. It looks pretty nice. It is unobtrusive in the space where I have placed it. It works well for keeping the baby out of unsafe places. The system cleverly fits over baseboards and chair rails.
CONS: The gate is NOT easy to open or latch, and does not close automatically, contrary to what some earlier reviewers have reported (I suspect the company has changed the design). My relatives with hand arthritis find this gate to be particularly hard to deal with, compared to other baby gates. My baby’s older cousins can’t open the latch either, which makes them try to climb over, and the gate is not strong enough to take that. Warning, the kit DOES NOT come with drywall anchors, only wood screws, even though most people who choose a solution of this type will be anchoring it to a wall rather than a door frame; most of you will have to purchase at least 8 drywall anchors to go with this item. And last, for some reason the vendor (Home Naturals) billed my credit card for each segment separately, causing multiple charges for the same item on the same day; although the total bill was correct, this triggered a fraud alarm from my credit card company, and the whole transaction was put on hold for several days while it got straightened out.

Best Pet Pink Sporty Jogger Pet Stroller Review
I just wanted to say that I am very impressed with this pet stroller. I have a small Yorkie and it’s great for her size and bigger (or even smaller). The inside of the cab part of the stroller is about 23″ by 13″. My dog, Polly, has plenty of room, but a larger dog, maybe 30lbs or more could fit in it and have plenty of room. I put Polly in the stroller after it was assembled and she didn’t want out. When I tried to take her out, she backed into the corner to try and hide from me. She loves it. The stroller is very well built, very sturdy, and it’s extremely easy to push. I can push it with her in it with one finger. That’s how smooth it glides, and I do mean it glides. It was a breeze to put it together – just a few steps. I absolutely love this stroller. It really is perfect.
It has a lock bar on the back wheels, so you can lock the stroller to keep it from rolling away on you, and the lock bar is easy to push with your foot. It also has a button for easy fold-up that works great. The step on front is a nice touch too. If I unzip the lower, front mesh window Polly can hop down on the step, but I just pick her up to get her out of the stroller. The drink holder on the handle is a great idea and very well made.
I like the mesh window on the top of the stroller because I can watch Polly as I walk her. And the large mesh window in the front is great for her to look out when she’s sitting up. I like the sitting area of the stroller too, the cab. It has a bar at the top of the sitting area, so Polly is secure in the cab even when I have the large mesh window raised up.
And just a pointer … the small mesh window in the lower front of the cab is a big plus for times when doggie is laying down. My dog loves to look out this mesh window when she’s laying down, then she doesn’t have to sit up to see where we’re going. I noticed some strollers didn’t have this lower mesh window and I know my dog wouldn’t like that at all.
At first I wasn’t happy that there was no mesh window in the back of the stroller, but now I can see that it doesn’t matter a bit to my dog … she’s always looking forward, and there’s plenty enough mesh in other areas to keep her cool on the hot days.
I also really like the basket under the stroller. All of Polly’s items fit in there for walking her too. I put her harness in there, her water bottle, her potty bags, and more. I also love the 3-wheel design vs. a 4-wheel design. I believe it maneuvers better and rides smoother. And of course the rear-suspension makes for a really smooth ride for doggie. If you’re looking for a great pet stroller, this is the one. And it comes in 9 different colors. I bought the pink stroller and it’s a beautiful pink.

My lab loves it – her poops are firm and effortless – her coat has a sheen and luster that we never saw with the Science Diet – her minor dandruff problem has disappeared – she doesn’t scratch or itch at all – and she looks forward to her mealtimes. Yes, there are higher quality kibbles available, but at his price point and with this list of quality ingredients, you can feel comfortable that you are feeding your dog a premium quality dog food without breaking your budget. I am truly grateful for Advantage. The doses on the dog had to be repeated every week or so because she had the most fleas, but it did the job wonderfully. I would highly recommend buying this product, especially from Amazon since the same stuff can cost you – at a pet store.

I can give it a 5star rating though as I’ve been buying them for almost 4 years. This is the treat Pepper gets when he goes to his “kennel” upon our having to go somewhere without him. All he had to do was see me get the container and he eagerly would go in as he knew a couple treats would follow.
My problem began when suddenly none of the local stores seem to carry the treat.
I have tried so many but not with any of the success I had with Nut’tastics. Plus….the amount of money I’ve spent only to toss(or give away)treats he won’t eat!!!
Thot I’d see if they were available on the internet. Boy am I glad Amazon has them. Please, please don’t quit making them available to us!

I bought this pet stroller because Parvo is an issue in Florida. Until my puppy has all of her shots I was not going to let her walk on public streets and take the chance that she might pick up parvo on my hour long walks. This stroller is terrific. It moves smoothly and with ease. Why four stars? Because there are two ways to put the puppy into the stroller, from the front and from the back. I do NOT recommend you open the front zipper once you finally get it zipped. It took me almost 1/2 an hour to get the front zipper closed again after I opened it. There is zero give in the front zipper closure which is a way is good because you do not want a sagging canopy on this stroller. I strongly suggest that you ALWAYS use the back zipper to put in and take out your pet. I would still buy this stroller again even with the zipper issue. It is extremely sturdy and will last for years to come! Don’t hesitate buying this stroller. It is alot of money but you get what you pay for.

This crate has been great for use by our Labrador puppy. The crate divider is excellent for changing the size of the crate as she grows. She is a heavy, strong little girl, and she is teething, so she can destroy most toys within a few minutes. She has chewed on the door repeatedly and it has not even bent slightly. There’s not enough room for the full set of Oster combs but I don’t use all of them anyway and they came with their own storage bag. i bought this for my boston terrier as we tried to move him off our bed and into his own space. he’s a bit on the small size and weighs only about 12lbs. this bed is the perfect size for him. he was crying every night when we tried to get him sleep off our bed. then we got this bed and he LOVED it right away. the lining on the inside is very soft and comfy, and having that cover really helps as i know he gets cold at night. it’s also easy to clean as the cover comes off easily for washing. now he goes to this bed by himself when it’s bed time and sleeps through the night just fine. maybe it’s just my dog, but if i can just teach him how to get under the cover by himself that would be perfect as the top is soft and not stiff as shown in the picture so sometimes he can’t get under the cover by himself.

Petmate Deluxe Pet Porter Jr. Large Kennel, Peacock Review
I bought this kennel for my Lhasa Apso who weighs 17 pounds. We have another which is the next size up that we leave upstairs for her to sleep in and this new one was for the downstairs. I like the color and it is sturdy enough for her but I think I should have gotten the next size up. She is able to lie down comfortably and stand up and turn around but her other one is the next size up and is more roomier. I should have measured better, but it does the job and she’s fine in it. I like the turn clasp better, this one has the one where you squeeze it and have to get the pins up top and down below to match the holes. It’s not a real problem, just my opinion.

I use these for each of my male hamsters (they have seperate cages). I got them these when they were just babies so they grew up with it. They only use it for #1 and still go #2 in the cage but really that’s where the smell is coming from. I don’t actually scoop anything cause it doesn’t work but I just dump the whole thing out and refill it. It’s pretty sturdy and i haven’t had any parts break. Start your animals off with this early and it’s great for keeping the cages smell to a minimum.

I’ve purchased a number of Kittywalk products, and this is my favorite. Set up is quick and easy — no clasps or fasteners; just unfold it, insert a couple of metal bars, and you’re done. You put pets in / take them out through a large tent flap at knee level, secured with a heavy-duty zipper (as opposed to their other products, where the entrance is at ground level and involves several clasps). Canvass flaps provide much-needed shade. It’s large enough to put in toys, bowls, towels for sitting, or just leave open for freedom of movement. (Other products are tunnels — toys block them, and pets may fight over right-of-way.) It’s compatible with most other Kittywalk products — I use it as the center of my backyard system, with the old “tunnel” pieces as arms radiating out for the cats to explore the garden. The only thing to watch for: the canvass flaps can catch the wind — be sure to weigh it down or secure it with stakes.

Jolly Pet 10″ Push-n-Play Red Review
We got the 10″ ball and my young Australian Shepherd loves it, really shows her herding ability. Took her a week or so to get the hang of it, she kept trying to pick up with her teeth which wasn’t possible because it is a hard ball. But now she herds this ball all over the yard and has learned to control it perfectly to get it right back to my feet when we play together. She also will play by herself running fast circles all over the yard and even getting it to balance on her nose. Word of caution though it is a heavy ball definitely an outside toy. Going to try the 14″ one next.

To say I like Zymox, would be putting it mildly!! I have an Aussie who suffered from chronic ear infections. Same story as everyone else–multiple trips to the vet, lots of money spent, yet no relief for the poor pooch! I was tired of watching her suffer, so decided to do an online search to see if there was something better out there. I came across an article by a South Carolina vet, who raved about the Zymox otic–further digging brought up even more rave reviews. The Zymox otic, fights not only yeast infections, but bacterial as well (at the time, I don’t think anything else did). Long story short, my dog went through one course of treatment and has not had an infection since (and it’s been over 4 years). On an added note, I told my local vet about the product and after he did some research, he started carrying it (and recommending it to his patients). Hopefully, your pet isn’t prone to infections and you can just use the cleanser as a preventive measure, but if he is, then the otic works very well.

Please note that my review is for very small “toy” dogs under 10lbs.
These pads costs a small fraction of what I had been paying for my regular training pads. They are much thinner than my regular pads. Even the box is a fraction the size of my regular pads. I’m sure my regular pads would hold more, but I’ve learned that I don’t need that much protection for my small dog who can use these pads several times during the day with no overflow.
These pads fit my standard size pad holders. They hold up to repeated use during the day by my 6lb Maltese. I’ve been using them for almost a year now w/o any problems. I will continue to use this product.
Advantages:
Cost a fraction of what my usual pads cost.
Box takes up a fraction of the storage space of my usual pads.
Pads fit standard size pad tray.
For a small dog (under 10 lb) they work fine, absorbing multiple uses during the day w/o leaking.
Disadvantages:
I really haven’t found any when used for my 6 pound Maltese.
They may not be sufficiently absorbent for use with very large dogs.
For ‘toy’ size dogs (under 10 lbs) I would recommend you give these a try.

Safari Shed Magic Small De-Shedding Tool Review
I bought this because it was a little less expensive than the Furminator. I bought it for one of my cats that is having furball problems. I thought for sure she’d hate it, since she’s so uptight about being groomed and whatnot, but… Not only does she love it! It also is amazing. I haven’t used the Furminator but I imagine these types of brushes are all the same. The comb part looks like a single blade to an electric clipper. So far so good. See ya later furball throwup!

After adopting a six year old Shih Tzu at the end of April, I bought him a number of different toys. This Busy Buddy Twist ‘n Treat Dog Toy is the only one he likes! I purchased the Extra-Small size.
In the past I’ve had older dogs and they always loved the kong so I bought a little one for him….He likes it if there is something sticking out the end, but isn’t into digging it out with his tongue or knocking it around for pieces to fall out.
What is great about this toy is how you can adjust the opening so it is a no brainer to start with and then progressively more challenging.
I somehow misplaced our first one so ordered another because he likes it so much!
He is not much of a chewer at all so it is perfect. Having it a bit softer makes it more appealing to him than if it were harder rubber or plastic.

I have a large black lab who loves this bed. We’ve had it for several months and in his 8 years, I think it’s probably his favorite bed so far. Mine too. I’ve tried many kinds and this one is great because it hides his black hair, is soft, durable and washable…sort of. It claims to be washable and while it is, it recommends a front load, commerical washer which I don’t have. I washed it in our regular washer and it did fine. It came out a little lumpy but my dog doesn’t seem to notice and it still looks nice. Also, we have it on our hardwood floor and it seems to be enough padding for him. But then he also likes to lay on the tile when he’s hot.

We have gotten several presents for our cat and he has ignored every one of them. Cat toys, catnip, collars, they have all been a waste of money – all except for this cat mat. At first, he ignored it like all the rest. But after petting him while he was sitting on it so that he realized it was warm, he spends the vast majority of his time on it. Especially during the winter months. It has become his favorite place to sleep at night and nap during the day. It never gets too warm, doesn’t affect the carpet below the mat, and is very easy to remove cat fur from. All in all, we are very happy with the purchase.

Hartz Groomer’s Best Rubber Dog Brush Review
Just picked up this brush last night for my labrador. We’ve tried everything on him from the metal deshedding tools and slicker brushes to the petmitt and traditional brushes. Nothing has even come close to pulling out the amount of fur that this brush can get. We tested it first on the cat who loved it. Cat was about half the size after losing his winter coat! This morning I tried it out on my lab and was stunned by the handfulls of fur I was getting off of him… Well, not stunned about the amount since I see it all over my hardwood floors every day, but amazed that it was the brush that actually got it all to come out. I highly recommend this brush to anyone who has a dog (or cat for that matter) with straight hair that traditional brushes just can’t seem to grab onto. My labrador was enjoying it so much that my pit bull and hovawart were trying to push their way in between us so they could get a turn too. My pit bull’s coat is very very short so the fur didn’t stick inside the bristles of the brush but it accumulated nicely at the base of her tail so I could just grab a handful and throw it away when her turn was finished. The dogs and cat loved this brush as well so its an all around thumbs up for me. I’m not sure about how it will work on long or wavy coats since my Hovawart just had his summer cut but he usually does fine with a traditional wire brush when his coat gets long. This brush is an absolute must for anyone who has a dog with shorter fur though. I wish I had discovered it years earlier instead of spending money on much more expensive fur removing tools. I picked up mine at kmart for about the same price as advertised here.
